Tactical board for football coaches
The UTEAM tactical board helps football coaches explain positioning and movement on the pitch. Build a formation, an exercise diagram or a sequence of actions in one workspace. The board is available in UTEAM Coach for individual coaches and UTEAM Club for coaching staff.
A coaching workflow
- Choose a pitch and position players, balls, goals and equipment. Give the diagram a specific purpose, such as building from the back or reacting after possession is lost.
- Break movement into successive frames. Step-by-step animation explains the order of actions and player interactions rather than showing only a starting formation.
- Save the diagram as an exercise and use it when preparing a session. Connect the visual with a description of the task so another coach can understand how to run it.
What to consider
The board visualises coaching decisions. It does not automatically track players from video or replace an explanation of the exercise goals, rules and success criteria.

- Can I animate a football tactic?
- Yes. Movement can be split into successive frames and played as a step-by-step animation. A completed diagram can also be saved as an exercise.
- Can an individual coach use the tactical board?
- Yes. It is included in the personal UTEAM Coach workspace. UTEAM Club supports staff collaboration, teams and permission management.
